Huckleberry Mocha
A double shot and steamed milk with huckleberry stirred through.
Teodoro Vance and Lena opened Kettle & Crow in downtown Boise. There are huckleberry mochas, brown butter lattes, nitro cold brew and loose-leaf tea at the bar, and a kitchen behind it serving breakfast burritos, Idaho potato hash, smash burgers and big salads.
Open Monday to Saturday 6:30am to 8pm, Sunday 7am to 4pm.
Idaho potato hash at 7am, a smash burger at 2pm, a big salad at 6pm. Same kitchen, same counter, all day long.
Weekend brunch runs both days with bottomless drip coffee.
The kitchen runs from opening until 8pm, Monday to Saturday.
Rolled and pressed to order, first thing in the morning.
Idaho potatoes crisp in the pan, with an egg on top.
Two thin patties pressed hard on the flat top.
A full bowl of leaves, grains and whatever is good that week.
Three people who drink here most mornings, in their own words.
Teodoro Vance was competing before he was pouring for a room. He opened Kettle & Crow with Lena and kept the habits from the competition floor: scales on every bar, tea weighed loose-leaf, and a tasting on the first Saturday of each month where we brew what has just landed and tell you what we did to it.

Coffee tasting every month
Teodoro brews whatever has just landed and talks you through the roast. It is one sitting, once a month, and the seats are limited, so ring the shop and we will put your name down.
Burritos, pastries and a pump pot of drip coffee, boxed at the counter and ready when somebody comes to collect. Tell us the day and how many people.
